Snake Eyes Version 08: Clad in black commando attire, Snake Eyes Version 08 features swap-out classic and modern heads, and is equipped with swords, a rifle, pistols, a sub-machinegun and a rifle. Snake Eyes is proficient in 12 different unarmed fighting systems including Karate, Kung-Fu, and Jujitsu, and is highly skilled in the use of edged weapons. He has received extensive training in mountaineering and underwater demolitions; jungle, desert and arctic survival; and some forms of holistic medicine. He was trained by the ARASHIKAGE™ ninja clan, the same clan that trained his sworn enemy, STORM SHADOW®, the COBRA® ninja mercenary.
Duke Version 06: Clad in fairly standard fatigues and a specialized harness, Duke Version 06 is equipped with a rifle, a grenade launcher, and the "DEPLAZ" (DP-SM) shoulder-mounted dual plasma cannon. Well-rounded and charismatic, Duke is fluent in a handful of foreign languages. Duke turned down a commission, nobly citing an inability on his part to "impel others to take the risks" and later became the Acting First Sergeant of the GI Joe team. The (DP-SM) shoulder-mounted dual plasma enables Duke to pulverize entire H.I.S.S. tanks.
Cobra Shock Trooper Version 01: Clad in black fatigues, the Cobra Shock Trooper Version 01 is outfitted with removable helmet, goggles and gas mask, and is equipped with "Sanbat" shock-and neutralize electroshock batons, a sledgehammer, a high-impact ballistic body shield, and the L.N.W.S. Laser neutralization weapon system. An elite tactical division within the Cobra ranks, Shock Troopers are specially trained and equipped to breach buildings and quickly overrun barricades.
Storm Shadow Version 06: Armor-clad Storm Shadow Version 06 is equipped with twin katana swords, a spear, snap-on claws, and a grapnel. Trained by his uncle in the Arashikage ninja school, Storm Shadow is obsessed with becoming the most renowned ninja in the world, though Snake Eyes continuously prevents him from reaching his objective. Storm Shadow's flawed worthiness prevented his uncle from teaching him the final step in the Seven Steps to the Sun, a path to immense ninja power, further fueling Storm Shadow's obsession and ultimately prompting him to instigate a battle for supremacy against Snake Eyes.
