Measuring approximately 3 ¾” tall, Vintage 2010 Series 01: C-3P0 features multiple points of articulation, and is accompanied by character-specific accessories and a nameplate display base. A protocol droid geared specifically for interaction with organic life forms, C-3PO is outfitted with a TranLang III Communicator module and an AA-1 VerboBrain which grant him access to more than six million forms of communication, by virtue of which C-3PO interprets, negotiates, and eases any potential instances of culture shock. C-3PO accompanied his omnipresent astromech counterpart, R2-D2---the latter carrying the holographic distress message intended for Obi-Wan Kenobi---from the besieged Tantive IV to the barren surface of Tatooine.
