Star Wars Transformers 2010 Series 01 Darth Vader transforms from a TIE Advanced into a robot heavily patterned after the actual Darth Vader and equipped with a tower shield and a red lightsaber. The TIE Advanced x1 was a prototye piloted by Dsarth Vader during the Battle of Yavin. Manufactured by Sienar Fleet Systems, TIE Advanced was powered by P-s5.6 twin ion engines and was armed with L-s9.3 laser cannons. An elaborate, cost-prohibitive improvement over the standard TIE, the Advanced x1 was furnished with shielding and a small hyperdrive. During the Battle of Yavin, Darth Vader was prevented from gunning down Luke Skywalker’s X-Wing when the Millenium Falcon abruptly attacked, destroying one of Vader’s wingmen and causing the remaining wingman to collide with Vader’s TIE Advanced.
