The FX Lightsaber with Removable Blade: Obi-Wan Kenobi version features a removable polycarbonate blade with igniting/glowing with LED-powered power-up and power-down lights effects, and motion sensor controlled sound effects---power-up, power-down, idle, movement, and clash---digitally recorded from the movie. The Obi-Wan Kenobi FX Lightsaber requires, but does not include, batteries, and is accompanied by a display stand. Requiring substantial strength and dexterity, the lightsaber, once a ceremonial weapon, was utilized primarily by the likes of Jedi and Sith warriors. Whereas lightsaber hilts were tailored according to wielders’ preference, the blade itself was comprised of plasma energy bound by a force containment field. A mentor to Anakin Skywalker at the outset of the Clone Wars, Obi-Wan Kenobi was a High Jedi General who served as a counterpoint to the schemes of Count Dooku. Obi-Wan participated in a number of noted ventures including the Dark Reaper Crisis, the Battle of Muunilinst, the Battle of Jabiim, and the Battle of Christophsis.
