Utilizing the Dune Runner mold, Scout Class Beachcomber features a color scheme reminiscent of the Gen 1 Beachcomber. Preferring exploration of the wilds of various remote planets, Beachcomber is one of myriad Autobots drawn into the calamitous struggle between the Autobots and Decepticons. Unhappily stationed on Earth, Beachcomber is set in opposition to the morbid, easily-amused Deadlift. Utilizing the Dirt Boss mold, Deadlift is painted to resemble GoBot Renegade and fellow forklift, Spoons. Unlike Beachcomber, Deadlift derives enjoyment from devastation, in which capacity he passionately embraces his primary function, which is the transport of destroyed Transformers to the smelting pool for the process of repurposing. Beachcomber’s irksomely benign presence, however, is the fly in Deadlift’s ointment.
