Utilizing the mold applied to Dropkick and later Salvage, Blowpipe features a color scheme reminiscent of Gen 1 Pipes. Blowpipe transforms from a pickup truck into a broad-shouldered robot with a digitigrade stance; Blowpipe is equipped with small, non-firing, forearm-situated blasters, and utilizes the truck’s flatbed as a handheld pincher claw. Preoccupied with Earth technology, Blowpipe, with the assistance of Ratchet, performs numerous self-modifications to improve his speed---which he is eager to test against his Decepticon adversary, Sidewise.
This version of Sideways sports the darker silver chassis; Sideways features a spinning saw blade function, and transforms into a sleek black and silver sports car. Originally a Decepticon courier disenchanted by the prospect of combat, Sideways has always practiced the habit of concealing himself behind larger, more imposing Decepticons. On Earth, Sideways practices the same habit, and has allied himself with the hulking Demolishor to fulfill that purpose.
