The SDCC 2008 Nemesis Prime utilizes the Classics Voyager Class Optimus Prime mold rendered in the established Scourge/Nemesis Prime teal and black color scheme. Nemesis Prime has malign red eyes, and appears to have semi-opaque blue windshields. Nemesis Prime features a modernized truck mode with smoke stacks and roof fairing components that transform into separate guns. In Nemesis Prime’s robot mode, the two guns can be combined to form a larger shoulder-situated weapon. This version of Nemesis Prime was a lowly warrior tortured by Straxus and ultimately reconstructed into a flawed Optimus Prime clone imbued with memory engrams and combat algorithms allowing Nemesis Prime to desultorily access the knowledge and experience of Optimus Prime. Unfortunately, Straxus’ cruel experimentation resulted in a monstrously powerful, derangedly aimless warrior that is now remanded to the most squalid shadows of Cybertron, intent upon the destruction of Autobots and Decepticons alike.
