A single blade ignites with realistic power-up, and power-down lights effects, including authentic lightsaber sound effects digitally recorded from the movie. Features motion sensor controlled sound effects: power-up, power-down, idle, movement, and clash. Durable yet light chrome plated aluminum body looks and feels like a real lightsaber. A sturdy polycarbonate blade is permanently attached to the hilt. Display stand included. Uses 6 - "AAA" batteries, not included. Measures approximately 3 1/2 feet long. Darth Maul is initially trained in Form VII: Juyo, and later attains mastery of the Jar’Kai dual-saber technique lightsaber technique. In the Theed Generator Complex, Maul battles Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan simultaneously, before maneuvering Qui-Gon into a one-on-one duel. Whereas Qui-Gon’s fighting style is hindered by the cramped spaces and drastic angles of the shield complex; Maul, by contrast, makes strategic use of his surroundings, overwhelming Qui-Gon and finally impaling him.
