Universe Ultra: Powerglide is large enough to gobble down the Gen 1 Powerglide like an animal cracker. The Gen 1 Powerglide’s red color scheme is echoed by the red helmet and trim work applied to the predominantly off-white Universe Powerglide. Powerglide’s A-10 vehicle mode is equipped with an underslung gun. Powerglide’s massive barrel-chested robot mode is extensively articulated, with the underslung gun serving as what appears to be a projectile-firing handheld gun. Being among the few Autobots with flight capability, Powerglide prefers to remain airborne as much as possible, and likes to distinguish himself by virtue of extravagant maneuverability; though his airborne prowess is generally inferior to that of the Decepticon Seekers, Powerglide rarely misses an opportunity to measure himself against such adversaries.
Universe Ultra: Silverbolt is noteworthy in that he is large enough to bully and intimidate the Gen 1 Superion. Silverbolt transforms into a jet bomber, and appears to be extensively articulated in his robot mode. He’s equipped with a projectile-firing blaster somewhat shaped into the semblance of the original Silverbolt’s electrostatic discharger rifle. Silverbolt features a vehicle speed of Mach 1.9, with a range of 4500 miles. Silverbolt was created by the Autobots along with the other Aerialbots to offset the advantage provided to the Decepticons by the newly created Stunticons. Chosen as the leader of the Aerialbots, Silverbolt was forced to contend with a nearly overpowering fear of heights, which fueled mild derision among the other Aerialbots during the Aerialbots’ early malcontentedness. Silverbolt managed to conquer his fear, and defined himself as a heroic and resourceful commander.
