Iron Man Movie Wave 01.5: Iron Monger 2 appears to boast an array of articulation similar to that of a Marvel Legends figure. The bulky Iron Monger armor, seemingly based upon the Iron Man Mark I armor, is designed to tower over Iron Man’s Mark III armor. The rounded torso and exaggerated collar give Iron Monger a tortoise-like appearance; arms and legs are encased in scalloped plates and outlined by ponderous hydraulics. Iron Monger’s left arm is joined with a gatling-style gun. The clearest indication of Iron Monger’s evil nature is the fact that the armor has creepy toes. The Iron Monger manifestation signifies Obadiah Stane’s embittered rivalry with his former protégée, Tony Stark.
