The Premium Series Optimus Prime Limited Edition With Battle Damage is well-articulated with a somewhat different design than the Leader Class Optimus Prime; battle damage occurs in the form of a darkening along the red portions of the chassis and whitish scoring along the blue portions. Premium Series Optimus Prime is armed with a pair of projectile-firing cannons. Originally, Optimus Prime ruled Cybertron alongside Megatron, although after Megatron revealed his scheme to yoke the power of the Allspark for himself, Optimus rallied a group of Cybertronian noncombatants into an unfortunately ineffective militia. In the aftermath of the destructive battle on Earth, Prime now strives to restore some of the damage wrought by the Decepticons.
