Based upon a non-working digital watch, Midnighter XR-4 is a silver and dark grey version of fellow Decepticon miscreant Meantime. Midnighter XR-4 is well-articulated, and has a classic Decepticon look to him complete with a very, very snide smile. Whereas the miniaturized tyrant Meantime is described as a sardonic and sadistic master of time, Midnighter XR-4 is a self-defeating blunderer hampered by an overemphasis on punctuality.
