Premium Jazz features a slightly altered color scheme with new paint applications. Jazz is one of the bulkier robots in the first Deluxe assortment, with very decent articulation and a somewhat elaborate transformation process. Jazz transforms from a Pontiac Solstice into an Autobot with a couple of touches that are reminiscent of Jazz’s Gen 1 incarnation. The car spoiler separates to become an arm-mounted shield; Jazz is armed with a weapon described as a telescoping sword but which also resembles a telescoping gun attachment. Unfortunately, Jazz met his untimely demise at the hands of a rampaging Megatron.
