Tigra is a bikini-clad hot chick sleekly sheathed in tiger stripes and armed with feral fangs and talons. Tigra’s transformation, allotting her degrees of heightened strength and reflexes, were bestowed to her by a race of covert cat-people. Initially, the mystical amulet incorporated into Tigra’s sparse costume aesthetic allowed her to revert to a semblance of her human form. Eventually Tigra became affiliated with the Avengers and later the West Coast Avengers.
