Hermi Odle is a monstrous, vaguely tortoise-like creature armed with a pike and somewhat dressed like the beggar from the album cover of Aqualung. Hermi Odle belongs to the race of Baragwin, the latter of which is apparently a species renowned for good looks, natural grace, and staunch physical fitness. Hermi Odle was one of Jabba’s subordinates, although his actual camera time is fairly well limited to Odle’s appearance among a crowd of Jabba’s grotesque followers during a scene in which the Han Solo carbonite block is revealed. Background material portrays Hermi Odle as having managed to emerge intact from the sail barge explosion and to have retreated to Mos Eisley where he boarded an outgoing vessel and seemingly vanished.
