Jazz is one of the bulkier robots in the first Deluxe assortment, with very decent articulation and a somewhat elaborate transformation process. Jazz transforms from a Pontiac Solstice into an Autobot with a couple of touches that are reminiscent of Jazz’s Gen 1 incarnation. The car spoiler separates to become an arm-mounted shield; Jazz is armed with a weapon described as a telescoping sword but which also resembles a telescoping gun attachment.
Jazz’s tech specs are as follows: Strength 6, Intelligence 6, Speed 9, Endurance 7, Rank 8, Courage 9, Fireblast 6, Skill 5. Courageous and determined, Jazz is also described as a loquacious, style-conscious member of the Autobot team. In the Movie continuity, Jazz and his fellow Autobots have sworn to defend the Earth against Decepticon invaders in the process of recovering the Allspark.
