CZ-3 is a battered humanoid droid, dirty and discolored, his chassis heavily cracked and sun-blasted. He has bug-eyes and an off-kilter, duck-like face. Just envision the isometric opposite of C-3PO’s fastidious and anal retentive gold chrome chassis. CZ-3 was a communications/business droid exposed to the harsh Tatooine elements and left to wander in a state of disorientation.
The supplemental material cites CZ-3 as a Serv-O-Droid serving as accountant to Jabba the Hutt. The Hutt used the dazedly unwitting droid as bait in order to catch Opun “The Black Hole” Mcgrrrr (who may well have the official dumbest-sounding name in the entire Star Wars universe) in a theft sting. Eventually CZ-3 was reduced to bartering material in a convoluted bounty hunter squabble.
