Protoform Starscream Sneak Preview Figure looks slightly more saurian than the Sneak Preview Optimus Protoform. Starscream’s segmented chassis is gold with touches of red. At a glance, his triangular-shaped head has a blunt face with something similar to a scolex. Like the Optimus Protoform, Starscream appears to be extensively articulated, armed with a thrust-fire gun that apparently reconfigures into the fiery tail of the figure’s bubble-shaped flying vehicle altmode.
Happily, the movie Starscream is described as being as vain and as treacherous as his memorable cartoon incarnation. Plying his secret agenda with various acts of subversion and duplicity, Starscream is prissily disdainful of Megatron’s tastes for aggression and direct conflict. Starscream yearns to permanently rule the Decepticons, though his attempts to crystallize his position are countermined by the Decepticons that remain loyal to Megatron.
