This version of the Clone Trooper is clad in the typical scalloped white armor, identified by a T-shaped visor and armed with a blaster rifle. At this point, the Clone Troopers stand at the precipice of Order 66. They’re genetically code to massacre their Jedi commanders, thusly allowing the scheming Palpatine to vilify the Jedi order and slither effortlessly into the emperor slot.
Initially, the Clones were instruments intended to serve the common good, but once the illusion of their loyal servitude outlived its usefulness, the scheming Palpatine overrode all other directives and implemented them in the betrayal and destruction of the Jedi. In the aftermath, once all burrows were finally secured and the nascent Empire’s checkpoints established, the Clone troopers were realigned to serve their true destiny, ostensibly forming the ranks of the Stormtroopers that would soon implement the will of Emperor Palpatine.
