Jabba’s Sail Barge is made of plastic and die-cast, and features a mounting arc and Star Wars insignia display base. This battered sand-encrusted barge serves as Jabba’s pleasure cruiser. The Sail Barge supports three decks and carries a variety of guns and turreted cannons. The vessel is ideal for an idle tour through the scenic sand-blasted wastes of Tatooine or a sacrificial feeding at the Pit of Carcoon.
Jabba’s intention was to convey Skywalker and Solo to the site of the Sarlacc. He brought the slave girl Leia along with him, and Boba Fett as well. Watching from a visor slot, Jabba merrily observed the process as the skiff was deployed and the gangplank was extended above the Sarlacc’s maw. Unfortunately, however, Skywalker unexpectedly went wild with his lightsaber, Boba Feet was abruptly ricocheted into the depths of the Sarlacc, and the mighty Jabba himself was strangled by a bikini-clad girl weighing less than his dewlap.
