Both Kir Kanos and Carnor Jax have cloth capes, removable helmets, blasters and double-bladed spears. The 2-pack includes a reprint of Crimson Empire #6.
Kir Kanos, in the red helmet, the last of the Royal Guard, strove to personify the foundational blocks of the dissembled Empire. Kanos’ frenzy was redoubled when fellow Royal Guard Carnor Jax attempted to eliminate Palpatine by destroying the latter’s clone bodies. Kanos staged a rampage that finally ended aboard the Squall when Kanos fought Jax to the death.
Carnor Jax, in the black helmet, is a former Royal Guard turned Sith Lord. In the process of sabotaging Palpatine’s clone bodies, the seditious Jax intended to secure his carefully laid footing and claim the throne for himself. Jax succeeded in eliminating the last of the Royal Guards, all except for Kir Kanos. Once Jax secured his power, he invested in exhaustive efforts to find and kill Kanos.
