The Jedi Training on Dagobah Battle Pack includes Yoda, R2-D2, Ghost Obi Wan with lightsaber, Luke Skywalker with Lightsaber, Darth Vader with lightsaber. The box set is given an environmental depiction, a swampy morass girded by outlying trees. Yoda is position atop a crate alongside R2-D2, the latter encrusted chest-deep in sticky brown mud. Ghost Obi-Wan watches over Luke Skywalker, as the burgeoning Jedi fights a desperate training duel against the spectral Darth Vader.
After Hoth, Luke and R-2 journeyed to the swamp world of Dagobah, where Luke had been advised by Obi-Wan to seek out the Jedi master Yoda. Initially, the entire matter seemed like dubious venture. Upon landing, Luke’s X-wing sank into the swamp. Yoda appeared shortly thereafter and portrayed himself as an oddball little creature, testing Luke’s patience. Later, once Luke’s training had begun, he was directed to enter a dark malevolent glade where he was forced to confront his own demons in the form of a spectral version of Darth Vader.
