The Classics Mirage incorporates elements of both the Gen 1 and the Dreamwave versions. Though lacking the shoulder-mounted weapon, his sleek vehicle mode creates the basis for an impressive, slightly nonlinear robot mode. He appears to be nimble and well-articulated. The front airfoil detaches and serves the robot mode as a crossbow-shaped electro disrupter.
Mirage’s character profile lists him as a counterpart to Bumblebee in an Autobot spy team, although it specifies that Mirage prefers sabotage to intelligence work. Mirage is cited for a rogue sense of humor with a simultaneous sense of unbreakable loyalty. His electro disputer assists him with the abilities to achieve invisibility and manufacture illusions.
