Rodimus Prime is made of both plastic and die-cast and features an Autobot emblem nameplate base. This version of Rodimus appears to have a completely contained transformation, eliminating the camper shell’s base mode. Rodimus displays his flame-chased classic colors, reminding those around him of his more reckless former self. The spoiler-fringed Rodimus is armed with what is presumably an alternate version of his photon eliminator.
After being chosen and upgraded by the Matrix, Rodimus Prime summarily thrashed Galvatron and used the power of the Matrix to give Unicron a fatal case of indigestion. Later, Rodimus held command for a while, leading the Autobots to the best of his ability against the insane campaigns of a restored Galvatron, until the Hate Plague infested the ranks of Autobot and Decepticon alike and necessitated the resurrection of Optimus Prime.
