Intending to flesh out the Classics continuity, the Mini-Con Night Rescue Team carry an overall Defensor semblance---and are most likely able to apply their rescue techniques during the day as well as night. Strongarm is the police vehicle, stout and durable as a robot. Divebomb is the helicopter, with an extremely nonlinear robot mode. Firebot (a name once allotted to one of the Playskool Go-Bots) is the fire truck, with heavy shoulder plates and arm-mounted cannons.
The character description for the Night Rescue Team cites the youthful disposition of the three Mini-Cons and the inherit fearlessness that comes from their inexperience. They’re known for headlong dashes into the heart of danger, dutifully going that extra mile to get the job done. Putting the T-E-A-M in ‘team’. Going for the gold. Giving 150%. Doing it their way or no way at all.
