These three familiar Mini-Cons keep their original identities but have been revamped with new stealth colors. Jolt, the helicopter, is done in semi-translucent blue, solid black and smoky-clear. Six-Speed, race car, is done in semi-translucent blue, solid black and silver. Reverb, truck, is done in semi-translucent pale blue, orange and solid black.
In the cartoon, these Mini-Cons were more or less stapled to their young human counterparts Bud, Lori and Coby, proving a sort of conduit between humans and Transformers. The character description for the Shadow Recon team cites a new mission for the three Mini-Cons, in which they are sent on a new exploration mission across space without having their presence known. Consequently, they have converted to stealth mode, cloaking their presence with new translucent colors.
