The pewter-finish Clone Trooper is detachable from the mechanically-styled nameplate base of his translucent display bubble. He should have some limited articulation at the neck and shoulders. Adopting an aggressively spaced stance, the Clone Trooper is positioned with his blaster rifle sighted and aimed. His bulky armor and death's-head helmet are both highly reminiscent of the Stormtrooper to come.
The Clone Troopers began as built-in soldiers generated from the harvested genetic materials of nefarious bounty hunter Jango Fett. Initially they were installed to reinforce the Jedi warriors against the Droid minions, but once Palpatine established his ultimate authority, “Order 66” was dispatched wide-range, and the Clone Troopers promptly turned on their Jedi companions, eradicating 98 percent of that venerable order in one fell swoop. Eventually these same troopers would crystallize into the ranks of Stormtroopers, set in place to enforce the will of the Empire.
