Just like the rest of its Titanium counterparts, the TIE Interceptor should be a highly accurate plastic/die-cast replica of the movie version, and should come equipped with a Star Wars insignia display base. The TIE Interceptor is a somewhat superior to the standard TIE. The spherical cockpit chamber seems to be essentially the same, but the wing panels are now inverted and the panel gaps allow for increased peripheral sight.
The Interceptors are fast and fluid, but, like the standard TIE, the safety factor seems to have eluded the equation once again. A well-aimed shot---BOOM! A random meteor rock---SPLAT! The Interceptors were lurking around during the battle of Endor, proving their general superiority in direct reinforcement of Palpatine’s intention to replace all of the standard TIEs with Interceptors.
