The Scourge mold, conveying organics and mechanics in equal parts, is one of the larger Decepticon molds in the Cybertron line. In quadruped dragon mode, the mold maintains behemoth dimensions. His Cyber Key function enables the two spring-loaded serpentine heads flanking the primary. In robot mode he unfolds to impressive height, the shoulder spikes revolving outwards to outlandish Gwar-like width, while the hydra effect carries over into the robot mode as well. The dragon tail detaches to become an axe with length nearly equal to Scourge’s robot height. Overall, with maybe the exception of the comparative stiffness in the shoulder region, the articulation is fairly decent.
Now, much like a bar of chocolate on a head-on collision with a jar of peanut butter, Decepticon Scourge has been spliced with Predacon Cryotek. The result: Cryo Scourge. The ice dragon rampant. A more impressive color scheme---yellow, silver, various shades of blue. As of yet, Cryo Scourge’s bio remains unknown. Presumably, since he retains the name Scourge, he isn’t a blatant Cryotek reincarnation. He’s still listed as a Decepticon, still with a Jungle Planet key, though in the cartoon his allegiance seemed to vary. Initially he leaned toward the Decepticon cause, then eventually established himself fully as a Decepticon, though at one point he did end up allying with the Autobots.
