Awkward, spindly, almost birdlike, Mars Guo, on the left, wears his goggles and standard gear---dark trappings contrasting slightly with his fish-belly-white and acid-green skin. On the right you have Dud Bolt, distinguished by his squat stature and elongated snout from which protrude long overlapping teeth. He’s clad in his standard racing gear including the helmet and adjoining goggles.
Mars Guo wasn’t precisely a bad guy, but his bravado and slovenly ways were sometimes exploited by the more unscrupulous parties with which he associated. The supplemental material describes Dud Bolt as a more pronounced and opportunistic lowlife. He was compensated for all accidents and crashes generated by his underhanded style of pod-racing.
