Starscream, irrepressible poster child for avarice and opportunistic ambition, is loyal to his Gen 1 concept in terms of both color and design---now with additional detail and high-level articulation. The jet mode is dead-on, and even the disposition of the stock photo presents longwise images of Starscream during his assault on Autobot City. In robot mode, he remains personified by the familiar inverted wings and arm-mounted blasters. His head sculpt retains the familiar helmet design and his angular face, now silver as opposed to charcoal, bears and adequate expression of mild disdain.
Perched like a turkey vulture over an ebbing carcass, Starscream seized each and every perceived opportunity, however shallow or self-defeating, to claim command over the Decepticons. Inevitably these instances concluded with Starscream at the business end of Megatron’s foot. Shortly thereafter, when Megatron reaped vengeance in the form of Galvatron, Starscream was atomized, only to realize later that his mutant spark was immortal.
