The Hailfire Droid features 32 missiles, rapid-fire missiles, pivoting missile pods, rolling wheels and positionable dual blaster cannon---everything except the kitchen sink and a bag of Funyuns. A massive sentient engine of destruction, the Hailfire has an altogether purposeful and malignant look to it. The vehicle marks a grim hunting presence on the battlefields, alternating terrain by use of its huge wheels.
The Hailfire Droids were contributed to the cause by the friendly folk at the InterGalactic Banking Clan---and as it turned out the Hailfire, originally a leg-breaker device on behalf of the banking clan, proved to be an excellent instrument for knocking out whole swaths of Clone Trooper as well as AT-TE’s. Additionally the Hailfire was a good ground-to-air weapon. There did seem to be some field issues with the ammunition expenditure and overall durability of the Hailfire, which called for a rarer frequency of usage.
