This Prime is a revamp of the Deluxe mold used for Armada Prime, Armada Nemesis Prime and Battle-In-A-Box/Universe Ultra Magnus. It’s a good mold, proportioned and heavily articulated, armed with forearm-mounted double-barrel blasters. The former three exploitations of the mold included a Mini-Con partner who doubled as a handheld gun, but in this case, apparently Prime, just like the upcoming Cybertron Demolishor, is equipped with a customized Cyber Key to work in concert with his Mini-Con ports. His color scheme corresponds with the upcoming Leader Class Cybertron Prime.
Presumably, this is just a scaled down version of Prime released under the same alternate circumstance as his original Armada Counterpart. In the Cybertron continuity, Prime is the Autobot Commander, charged with a vast organizational task in the wake of the appearance of the Black Hole and the mass exodus from planet Cybertron. Especially once it becomes apparent that Megatron had once again reemerged, this time equipped with fragments of Unicron armor, Optimus attempts to gather all of the Cyber Keys in hopes of neutralizing the Black Hole. In order to do this, in some cases dealing with individual Autobot leaders such as Override of Speed Planet or Metroplex of Giant Planet, Prime is forced to proceed diplomatically, sometimes loaning out assignments to his trusted warriors.
