The Ultra Class Megatron Dragon transforms from a winged robot mode into a large scallop-armored dragon with unfolding wings, flexible neck and tail, and a mouth-situated missile launcher with two projectiles. This version of Megatron is the result of the Predacon’s leader’s merging with the spark of the original Megatron. Although the process of this merging initially rendered Megatron inert and vulnerable to the sedition of Quickstrike and Tarantulas, Megatron’s exposure to raw lava completed his metamorphosis, upgrading him to a mode powerful enough to best even Optimal Optimus with contemptuous ease. In dragon mode, Megatron is capable of flying 400 mph. His tail discharges electro-static energies which enables him to stun and capture his enemies for interrogation. His pyro-beam torpedoes generate flame breath that burns 1000 times hotter than oil. In concert with his vastly heightened power, Megatron is driven to uncharacteristic fits of nonproductive rage which often lead to instances of indiscriminate destruction.
