The Galactic Heroes, a more child-based strain of the Star Wars line, are about two inches tall and look to have a little articulation to them. Skywalker and Solo are incognito, clad in purloined Stormtrooper gear. They’re both wearing Stormtrooper armor. They both have removable Stormtrooper helmets. They’re both carrying Stormtrooper blasters. They’re both smiling in a vapid, lukewarm sort of way.
This set depicts the Princess Leia rescue, in which Skywalker and Solo infiltrate the Imperial lair, disguising themselves as Stormtroopers in order to gain access to Leia’s holding cell. They do manage to liberate the young princess, but they don’t make it far before they’re hemmed at both ends of a corridor by heavily-armed Imperial personnel. In desperation, they jump into the trash chute, which deposits them dead center at the heart of the Imperial trash compacter. Imperials are evidently disdainful of their own refuse, so they appoint slimy green bulbous monsters with periscope eyeballs to the task. Now, Skywalker, Solo, Princess Leia and Chewbacca find themselves at odds with the garbage monster and the compactor’s slowly closing walls!
