Behold the primordial image of Beast Megatron rampant. The black-hearted, time-displaced tyrant stands poised with his dinosaur-head appendage brandished, tooth-filled jaws agape. The rugose purple synthetic flesh of his tyrannosaurus mode almost clashes within the undercurrent of robotic black armor. His helmeted head is cast in the image of the classic Megatron from whom Beast Megatron derived his name.
Beast Megatron was more of a schemer than his war-hungry namesake, preferring complicated intrigues and subtle manipulations of both enemy and ally alike to the original Megatron’s straightforward conquest-driven assaults. He and his small crew of Predacons crash-landed on a prehistoric Earth, where Megatron scanned the form of a tyrannosaurus to serve as his energon buffer. Though his initial mission, guided by the stolen Golden Disk, involved uncovering the Ark and destroying the stasis-locked G1 Optimus Prime, thus robbing the Autobots of their victory against the Decepticons, Beast Megatron, consummate opportunist, did take the time pursue a few of his own interests first.
