This item has been graded by a third party grading company called AFA. (Action Figure Authority - www.toygrader.com)
We will primarily be selling items graded 'U85' to 'U100'
A grade of 85 means the item is Near Mint
A grade of 90 means the item is Near Mint+ to Mint
A grade of 95 means the item is Mint
A grade of 100 means the item is Gem Mint
The 'U' designation means the toy is 'Uncirculated' - we send the items to AFA in factory sealed cases,
AFA then opens the cases and handles the items minimally while wearing cotton gloves. The toys have not been touched by human hands since being packaged at the factory in China.
AFA packages each item in a high quality clear acrylic case suitable for display, and puts an AFA sticker inside the case showing the grade of the item and a trackable serial number.
The AFA grading process is fairly expensive and time consuming, but we've done all the extra work on these items so you can order an item of the grade you require, without the unknowns of submitting your own item to be graded.
AFA grades an extremely small percentage of the overall stock that BBTS receives, so this will in no way impact the number of 'collector grade' items we offer on our site.
