Thunderblast is very cool, and, being a female Decepticon, a rarity. She's the American version of Galaxy Force Chromia. There haven't been many female Decepticons. There are one or two of them floating around, like Botcon Shadow Striker or Botcon Flamewar, but they're both Autobot repaints. Even Blackarachnia, a Predacon, began as a Maximal protoform. Thunderblast is unique.
In vehicle mode, Thunderblast is a sleek-looking, medium-sized gunboat. Her cyber-key function enables an outward-scoping missile launcher loaded inside her primary gun. Her transformation is reasonably simple. In robot mode, like Energon Arcee, she has a noticeably feminine shape, smooth rounded contours. Nice face sculpt, again vaguely similar to Arcee, but fitted with yellow piping to light the eyes. The divided boat hull becomes her wings. Her gun can either be stored in the turret between the two missile-brackets at the center of her back or removed and utilized manually; despite the size and weight of the gun, it's slotted to connect at her hand and inner wrist. She's got plenty of articulation, head, waist, ankles, ball sockets at the shoulders and hips, and her elbows are jointed to reinforce her gun arm. In and all, she's one of the better Decepticons in the line.
