This is the infamous “Hell’s Bells” squad, remembered for great savagery and fearlessness. These guys were standing hip-deep in the rice patties and putting it to the Battle Droids long before the first Clone ever set foot on the field. These guys were there, man, living the war instead of standing in some picket line or reading about it in some bleeding-heart magazine.
On the far left you’ve got Private “Chef” Hicks, and though his compatriots sometimes considered him to be wound too tightly for the war, he remained the grounded element of the bunch. Next over, that’s Private “Surfer Boy” Johnson, a former Speeder Bike champion, seemingly dazed and confused but right on the money when it all came down to the wire. Second to the far right, that’s Captain Willard, trained as an assassin, doing his second tour of duty. Finally, out on the far right, you’ve got Colonel Kurtz, charismatic, unreadable, occasionally accused of unsound methods.
