A 1:6 scale polystone sculpture measuring approximately 6” tall, the limited edition Figrin D’an Mini Bust is hand numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. The black-clad Figrin D’an is accompanied by one of his instruments of choice, the Kloo Horn. A Bith life form, Figrin D’an is the leader of the much-renowned Modal Nodes, in which capacity he utilizes both the Kloo Horn and the Gasan String Drum. Originally, just prior to the Battle of Yavin, the Modal Nodes ill-advisedly entered into a contract with Jabba the Hutt, which relegated the band primarily to the squalid locale of Jabba’s palace, which, given Jabba’s propensity for dumping his employees into the Rancor pit, quickly became a stifling and stressful atmosphere. The Modal Nodes were subsequently lured from Jabba’s exclusivity by a business rival, and though Figrin D’an intended to utilize the stipend of 3,000 credits as a means of relocating the Modal Nodes from Tatooine altogether, he ultimately squandered the majority of the credits playing Sabacc. Later, the vengeful Jabba, upon learning of the Modal Nodes’ performances elsewhere, sent bounty hunters to sabotage the band, although a raid staged by Imperial Stormtroopers provided inadvertent distraction, and in the ensuing chaos Figrin D’an and his cohorts were befriended by Wuher, an influential bartender from Chalmun's Cantina. The Modal Nodes were subsequently present in the cantina, playing a set, during the auspicious negotiations between Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, and Han Solo.
