The Animated Obi-Wan Kenobi: A New Hope Maquette stands 9” tall, and is presented in a heavily stylized aesthetic. Obi-Wan is clad in brown robes, his expression typically serine as he brandishes his blue lightsaber. Having received Princess Leia’s holographic distress message, Obi-Wan recruited Luke Skywalker in a venture to bring the fugitive droids R2-D2 and C-3P0 to Mos Eisley, with the intention of contracting a vessel to reach Alderaan. At the Mos Eisley cantina, Luke Skywalker ran afoul of Dr. Evazan and Ponda Baba; seeing that the young Skywalker had blundered into troublesome waters, Obi-Wan intervened, brandishing his lightsaber and striking before either of the two cantina lowlifes were able to open fire with their blasters. Obi-Wan succeeded in chartering a flight with Han Solo; along the way, aboard the Millenium Falcon, Obi-Wan continued to train Skywalker in the way of the Jedi.
