The 1:6 Scale Han Solo Statue stands 12” tall. As with other Gentle Giant likenesses, this depiction of Han Solo should be pretty accurate. A renowned smuggler, Solo was in the scum-laden Mos Eisley cantina when he was contacted by Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi, the latter two interested in purchasing clandestine passage aboard Solo’s starship, the Millennium Falcon. After balking arrogantly at Skywalker and Obi-Wan’s ignorance of the aforementioned modified Corellian Transport, Solo agrees to transport Skywalker, Obi-Wan, R2-D2 and C-3PO from Tattooine to Alderaan for a sum of 17,000 credits. This transaction might help to square Solo’s debt with Jabba the Hutt. Accordingly, once Solo has sent his copilot Chewbacca on ahead, the smuggler is intercepted by poor Greedo, who is hoping to claim the large bounty placed on Solo’s head. Solo finishes Greedo with a cheap shot and exits the cantina.
