Jabba's Palace Band Statue should be presented in the following dimensions: 8.75” tall, 9.25” deep, 9.5” wide. The band includes Droopy McCool, Sy Snoodles, Max Rebo---and that little creep Salacious Crumb playing groupie like an obsessed fan at a Doobie Brothers show. Droopy McCool is the rotund gopher-like critter playing the chidinkalu horn. Sy Snoodles, the singer, is built a little like a stork with a pair of bloated candy-red lips carried at the end of a stalk. The bright-blue proboscis-sporting Max Rebo is on the Red Ball Jet keyboard.
Depending upon what version of Return of the Jedi you’re watching, the Max Rebo Band is actively serenading Jabba’s malodorous throne room with either the song “Lapti Nek” or else the replacement song “Jedi Rocks”. The Max Rebo Band is shown performing when R2 and C-3P0 enter the throne room, and is also shown again, this time a little more peripherally, aboard Jabba’s sail barge. In the supplemental material, in the aftermath of Jabba’s death, the band members lose their instruments, causing Droopy McCool to set off in search of his own kind, and leaving Sy Snoodles and Max Rebo to form a duet.
