Clubber Lang is dressed in black trunks with white trim, with red gloves. Prior to the first match with Balboa, Clubber broods intently, pacing back and forth and looking from his peripheral as he delivers aspersions and threats to the blundering press assembly. Clubber later goads Rocky on the way to the ring, generating the tumult that causes Mickey to suffer a heart attack. Resilient to Rocky’s opening flurry of punches, Clubber retaliates by thoroughly pulverizing the conflicted and ill-prepared Rocky. Rocky loses the Heavyweight Title almost immediately, and is forced, battered and bludgeoned with puffed-shut eyes, to console the dying Mickie by reporting a false victory.
