Presented in window box packaging, the POP Star Wars Bobblehead Series 03 - Jawa measures approximately 3 ¾” tall and is situated atop a Star Wars insignia base. Indigenous to the arid wastes of Tatooine, Jawas are diminutive robed figures with glittering eyes. Residing inside their massive rust-laden Sandcrawlers, Jawas travel throughout Tatooine, meticulously scavenging detritus and functional and non-functional droids which are minimally repaired and sold to moisture farmers. In some instances the Jawas’ jury-rigged droids will malfunction prior to the completion of a purchase, and Jawas, when confronted, will immediately adopt a placating demeanor. Following the arrival of R2-D2 and C-3PO, the Jawas capture the two droids and ultimately sell them to Uncle Lars and Luke Skywalker. Ignorant of the significance of the two droids, the Jawas who sold R2-D2 and C-3PO to Uncle Lars and Luke Skywalker are later massacred by Sandtroopers, the latter attempting to frame Tusken Raiders for the attack.
