Inspired by the work of Mark Brokaw, this 1/4 scale, pre-painted, fully-licensed statue stands approx. 23" to the top of its antennas, which are removable to ensure no damage during transit. Original master sculpted and painted by Brian Healy.
A kind of crustacean bug-lizard, the She-Creature is a ghastly monster interwoven with ribbed fins and elongated antennae and reinforced by layers and scallops of natural armor. Seedy carnival hypnotist Dr. Carlo Lombardi touts his ability to connect a human subject to past incarnations, alluding to an ability to awaken and revitalize primordial sea creatures contained in a human subject’s long-distant past. As a series of murders unfolds, maladroit police lieutenant Ed James, assigned to the case, is unable to derive anything from the grisly crime scenes apart from the vague idea of an immensely power assailant with wet footprints, however he refuses to budge from the suspicion that Dr. Carlo Lombardi is somehow linked to the murders. Later, after visiting the carnival and watching Lombardi’s act, James wonders whether or not Lombardi is committing the murders himself and staging each crime scene to lend credibility to his primordial sea monster theory. It is ultimately revealed that Lombardi is in fact hypnotizing his assistant, the winsome Andrea Talbott, and regressing her to the She-Creature, an unstoppable beast which easily pulverizes its human prey on behalf of the seedy Lombardi.
