The Dr. Tongue Deluxe Action Figure features rubbery tongue, real hair, 7 points of articulation, and is accompanied by a display base. Dr. Tongue is the second figure in a series based upon the sprawling zombie epic Day of the Dead. Dr. Tongue is clad in a disheveled, bloodstained suit; his scalp is fringed by scraggly tousles of white hair, his face is ravaged to the point that the slithering tongue dangles of its own volition. Dr. Tongue was introduced early on, in concert with the film title/opening credits, during the scene in which stalwart scientist Sarah and cowardly soldier Miguel attempt to rouse prospective living survivors from a town long since overrun by alligators and shambling zombies. Dr. Tongue was one zombie among a wave of undead attracted by the unaccustomed noise. Upon seeing Dr. Tongue and his associates even from a distance, Miguel let out an impassioned snivel before running for the helicopter.
