Fully authorized figurines, teamed up with an amazing magazine put this series in a super-league of its own! The hand-painted lead figurines are sculpted by master craftsmen and based on original pieces of Marvel artwork. Measuring 3 1/2"-4" tall, each figurine is individually numbered, comes stamped with the Marvel official logo, and comes packaged in its own box. The magazine accompanying each figurine will provide a detailed history and background on the featured character, including exclusive images and interviews. The fabulous characters featured this month are Mockingbird (#175), Tiger Shark (#176), and Nico Minoru (#177)!
Tiger Shark’s orange and dark grey costume provides a stylized dorsal fin, and is outlined by a series of smaller saw-toothed spikes. A man-like creature with gills and flesh-rending teeth, Tiger Shark is the result of a combination of human DNA and that of the Sub-Mariner. Tiger Shark’s strength and reflexes are comparable to that of the Sub-Mariner, although he (Tiger Shark) only retains his strength while immersed in water, necessitating his special costume which provides him with a water circulatory system. Tiger Shark’s initial attempt to become the monarch of Atlantis is thwarted by Sub-Mariner. He later undergoes a mutation which heightens his shark-like characteristics, replacing his costume dorsal fin with an actual fin.
