These fully-authorized, hand-painted lead figurines are sculpted by master craftsmen and based on original pieces of Marvel artwork. Each 3 1/2" figurine is individually numbered, comes stamped with the Marvel official logo, and comes packaged in its own box. The accompanying 16-page magazine provides a detailed history and background on the featured character, including exclusive images and interviews. The fabulous characters featured this month are Magik (#166), The Beetle (#167), and Shanna the She-Devil (#168).
Shanna’s childhood, shadowed by the accidental shooting of her mother, inundated her with a formative hatred for firearms. Simultaneously she was drawn to more primordial facets of life which led her to pursue veterinary medicine and zoology. Unfortunately, her tragic past with firearms returned to haunt her; this time a female leopard, Julani, was shot and killed. Shanna transported Julani’s two cubs to Africa, where Shanna donned Julani’s skin to assist with the raising of the cubs. She communed with her new environment, and built upon her primal skills and uncanny reflexes to become Shanna the She-Devil, defending the reserve against poachers and other lowlifes.
