M.O.D.O.K. (Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing) is originally an A.I.M. technician who undergoes mutagenic mind-enhancing transformation for the purpose of gaining greater insight into the power of the Cosmic Cube. This process, however, drives him insane, his paranoia prompting him to assume control of A.I.M. MODOK possesses immense intelligence and exponential learning potential. His psionic powers can be utilized as a mind-control device or channeled into a single blast powerful enough to vaporize someone with the durability of the Abomination. Later assassinated by the Serpent Society on behalf of A.I.M., the original MODOK was succeeded by the additionally repulsive M.O.D.A.M. (Mental Organism Designed for Aggressive Maneuvers).
